Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad, Iran) – Ayatollah Ali Ridha Arafi, at the 19th commemoration festival of Shaykh Tusi which was held within the central library of the Mausoleum of Imam Ridha (as), said “Spreading the Divine Message and reaching the peak of academia needs increased efforts in the fields of research and inquiry; this matter can only be realized by increased efforts and developing competent researchers throughout the country.”
The head of the Iranian Islamic Seminaries, while explaining that even thou spirituality in some eras declined, it was never forgotten, went on to say, “Spirituality during different days and ages had varying degrees within the society. For example, during the Revolution and the 8 year imposed war, spirituality was at its peak.”
“Searching for spirituality is a undeniable reality that has occurred throughout history and one of the goals of Al-Mustafa International University is to guide mankind towards seeking that spirituality,” the member of the Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution said.
At the end, Ayatollah Arafi said that this spirituality is guided and supported by Islamic Jurisprudence and Ethics and gave the example of Shaykh Tusi as being the ideal model in this regard.
